Moto G became the first device to get android lolipop update in india. The update is rolled out for both 1st and 2nd generations Moto G devices. The update includes aa ton of features including the new material design and totally smooth user interface which includes limiting of animations and making the device more user friendly, It also includes Project Volta as promised by google which will vastly improve battery life of your android device.
Motorola Mobility recently tweeted on twitter about the update.
If your are a Moto G user then you might get a notification about the update, it’s about 377.4 mega bytes of update.
The procedure is quite simple, Its recommended to have at least 50 % of battery life. Just make sure you are connected to a good WiFi network (otherwise data charges may apply) and click on Yes I’m in on update notification to start the process. It will take some time depending upon your WiFi speed.
If you have’nt got the notification yet then you can also check for the update by navigating to Settings – About Phone – Software update.
And if that does’nt works then just chillax !! soon the notification will knock your door.
