Friends Easter Eggs – Google Pays Tribute To 25 Years Of ‘Friends’

‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ was among the most popular American T.V series which successfully competed 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. The shows displayed the story of 6 friends, Ross Geller,  Chandler Bing, Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, and Monica Geller; who lived in New York. After a tribute to Thanos – Heroes of Supervillians, Google has also paid blazing tribute to American epic T.V series – ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’.

Tomorrow ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ will complete 25 years since it was first aired on 22 September 1994. When anyone searches on Google about any of those 6 friends from the series, Google displays a special icon at the right corner of the search page screen. These icons are so designed by Google that either contains a joke that relates to the particular character or easter eggs.

Ross Geller

Like when a user searches for Ross Geller, there appears a couch on the screen. When you click on it,  it says “Pivot! Pivot!” and the screen also starts pivoting and continues unless it says, “I don’t think it’s gonna pivot any more..”

Chandler Bing

Likewise, upon searching for Chandler Bing, an armchair comes on the screen. And a duck and chick move everywhere on the screen.  For Rachel Green, Google sets the images of ‘The Rachel’. This iconic character is named after Jennifer Aniston. Although, it appeared only in the initial seasons of the show.

Joey Tribbiani

To give tribute to the character of Joey Tribbiani, Google sets an image of arms holding a slice of Pizza, saying that, “Joey doesn’t share food!” Monica Geller makes your screen sparkling And Phoebe Buffay is going to sing her favorite song, ‘Smelly Cat’ and a smelly cat also walks around.

If you type Phoebe Buffay on the Google search engine and a guitar appears on your browser screen and you can guess it because Phoebe is good for singing. When you click on the Guitar icon, a smelly cat song comes and works around the screen. Plus in the background, you hear Phoebe singing, “Smelly Cat”.

Fans of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ would be able to see the definitions of popular glossary from the series such as  ‘Unfloopy’, ‘Phalange’, ‘Mississipily’ and such other. ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ will definitely love this tribute of Google for their favorite characters.

All the 6 loving characters of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ are given with an Easter Egg from Google upon completing 25 years. Sitcom must be happy with this action of Google and celebrating the silver jubilee of this hit series – ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’. Let’s get to know how Easter Egg works?

The cast of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’, no doubt did the fantabulous job and have earned millions. It was one of the best creations of Sitcom. Following the footsteps of Google, the cast of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ also come along on their social media to pay tribute to the series. “Celebrating a Thursday night 25 years ago,” Schwimmer (As Rose Geller in ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’) said to his followers. “THANK YOU to all the fans out there!! We couldn’t have done it without you.”
